XFX R9 290 DD Double Dissipation GPU Review

The validity of Star Swarm as a benchmark continues to be questioned, but we like to give you every possible comparison against your own system. Still, we’re certain that the R9 290 DD isn’t 5FPS better than a 295X2.

Watch Dogs, otherwise known as “point at the thing and press a button”, is a gorgeous looker despite being average to play. The extra performance of the overclocked Club3D sticks it above the XFX, although a stock R9 290 at this level of image quality is still impressive to be a hairs breadth from 60FPS.
