The Direct Dissipation cooler doesn’t just look the part, it’s frankly incredible in performance terms. To be cooler than nearly every other R9 card that we’ve tested is one thing, but to be this much cooler is staggering. It isn’t done just with massively fast fans at the expense of your ears though, it’s easily the quietest of the modern Radeons. Our case fans were louder than the card at full tilt.
