Cooler Master MK850 AIMPAD Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Review

Introduction

The Cooler Master range of products is legendary amongst those of us for whom computer components are a way of life. From the early days of custom products for the fledgling home build systems all the way through to now, their combination of quality and design ethos has remained incredibly strong.

When they first broke into the peripheral market it was under a sub-brand known as CM Storm. With a full range available they all managed to combine new and interesting features with the same attention to detail for which Cooler Master is known. It was no great surprise when they subsumed the CM Storm brand back into the main Cooler Master brand, and their product range has gone from strength to strength.

Today we’re looking at their latest flagship keyboard which brings together a huge range of ideas into one complete whole in the form of the MK850 AIMPAD. MK standing for Master Keys, fact fans. Unquestionably the biggest feature is the one that has earned its place in the model name, the AIMPAD technology. This combines the famous Cherry MX switches with an optical sensor allowing full analogue control, on your keyboard, without compromising the regular typing feel.

Let’s take a look.
