Corsair Ironclaw RGB Wireless MOBA Mouse Review

Corsair Ironclaw RGB Wireless MOBA Mouse Review

Introduction

We recently looked at the latest range of Corsair mice, and found them all to have enough qualities to make them interesting, whilst also being different enough that it didn’t feel like reviewing a bunch of identical things.

That might sound like damning with faint praise, but it’s actually a big compliment. Think about a mouse and how much of the design is already decided before anyone gets their design pens out. It has to have two buttons on top, a scroll wheel, usually two side buttons, has to fit in an average sized human hand, normally has a button to adjust the sensitivity. It doesn’t leave an awful lot of room for expression or how to make each one visually unique without resorting to producing an uncomfortable design. But, somehow, Corsair have managed it.

The chunkiest of the three we reviewed before is undoubtedly the Ironclaw. This is a mouse for people who want big, obvious buttons and a palm-filling size. We liked it a lot.

Today we have the wireless model, equipped with Corsair’s SlipStream technology which makes the mouse responsive enough that you would find it almost impossible to determine if it’s wired or not in a blind test.

Let’s remind ourselves of what it looks like.
