i-rocks M09 Gaming Mouse Review
Up Close
The M09 packaging reminds us of the K10 keyboard packaging, with a clear picture of the product itself, and bright colours to grab your attention. It even has the front flap so you can get a proper look at the M09.
The design is very nice with a soft-touch rubberised coating ensuring maximum grip. We also have a neutral design, although there are only side buttons on the left, so it’s partially ambidextrous. It’s reasonably sized, with a decent hump on the back for those of you who prefer to play with a palm grip rather than the fingertip touch. Given the low DPI of the M09 we’re sure that more of you will go for the palm than the finger tip anyway.
The underneath has the switches to select the DPI and polling rate, as well as some large feet to assist in lowering friction on your surface of choice.
The cable is both long and good quality, with a gold plated USB plug and some nice braiding. It’s a long way ahead of the cable we found on their K10 keyboard.
Once plugged in there is a good level of green lighting, with the scroll wheel and ROCK logo both giving you a pantomime villain appearance.
