Up Close – Feet and Palm Rests

The low friction feet are the first adjustable item we’re looking at, and held in place with many magnetic fixing points and the mouse equivalent of a dowled joint to help locate them in place and stop any wiggling. Out of the box the Pro X3 has ceramic feet, and these are extremely low friction, making even teflon feet seem sticky in comparison.

But if you prefer a little more friction you’ll be pleased to note that regular PTFE feet are also supplied too.

There are three different palm rests available, all of which fit in place easily and have a lot of Y-axis movement available to them – from the view of the this photograph at least.

Here they are side by side and you can see that they are variations on the theme, rather than wholly different designs. With such flexibility we’d have liked to see an outré design thrown in.

Under neath them all there is yet more adjustment available, albeit the kind that requires a screwdriver to tweak. Certainly if you want your palm rest to be exactly to your taste then the Pro X3 Supreme Edition has you covered.
