Crucial Pro 6000MHz Review

Introduction

Although it is something of a generalisation, products can largely be separated into four categories. Usually in increasing levels of price. There are crazy cheap things that have zero design effort but get the job done. Secondly, the same level of performance but with some glitzy elements – lights, gems, chrome etc. Thirdly better performing, better built items that have a utilitarian design. And then finally all the features and all the glamour.

Today we’re looking at the latest in a long line of Crucial memory kits. This is the Crucial 32GB Pro DDR5 kit at 6000MHz. It oddly sits in the fourth bracket in price terms if you just look at the MSRP, but the design is that aforementioned utilitarian style. Thankfully the street price is significantly more affordable. So, if you’re in the market for some memory that doesn’t cost the earth and also doesn’t shine out from your case like the fourth of July, this might be the very product.

Let’s take a quick look at what little there is to show you of it in the flesh, before pushing some benchmarks through it.
