Assassin’s Creed: Origins PC Performance Review
VRAM Usage
When playing Assassin’s Creed: Origins the only time we noticed that our system was using more than 4GB of VRAM was when playing the game at 4K Ultra settings, showcasing how little VRAM is required to run this game.
This is great news for those who are using lower-end GPU hardware, as it will certainly help you play the game with its higher-end textures when using older 2GB cards at resolutions of around 1080p.
I wonder if Ubisoft has high-resolution texture pack in works of this game, as an Xbox One X version is coming and it will contain higher resolution textures than the game’s standard console version. Will the Xbox One X use PC textures, or will the Xbox One X release coincide with the release of higher-end textures on PC?
