Borderlands 4 now runs faster across all graphical presets

Thanks to the game’s optimisation updates, Borderlands 4 now runs faster across all graphical presets. With our Sapphire RX 9070 XT Pulse graphics card (which we have tested in more depth here), we see the largest performance gains when using Borderlands 4’s Badass and Very High presets. With these presets, average framerates increase by 26.1% and 40.15%, respectively.

Overall, Borderlands 4 now runs much faster on PC and with much less stuttering. Exact performance gains will vary depending on the graphical settings you use. That said, you will see on the next page that things are more complex than they first seem.
