Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 PC Performance Review and Optimisation Guide

1080p Performance

1080p Performance – 60+ FPS on most modern GPUs

At 1080p, Black Ops 6 runs well on all of the GPUs we have tested, with one exception, the RTX 2060. It is the only GPU below that didn’t deliver an average framerate of over 60 FPS using the game’s extreme settings. Sadly, since DLSS and other upscalers aren’t working (at least at launch), there is no easy way to boost this GPU’s performance past the 60 FPS mark. That said, Black Ops 6 still looks great using lower graphical presets, and they can give this game a significant performance bump.

With Balanced settings, we are able to achieve an average framerate of over 60 FPS at 1080p, with basic settings keeping the game over 60 FPS in most situations. If DLSS worked correctly, I would recommend using Balanced settings with DLSS in Quality Mode. As it stands, DLSS doesn’t deliver any performance gains in quality mode. Hopefully, a patch will arrive soon that fixes DLSS, FSR 3 and other upscalers.
