1440p Performance – Benchmark Results

At 1440p we see a similar trend to 1080p, with the only switch-up in our GPOU rankings being Nvidia’s RTX 2060 sneaking past AMD’s RX Vega 56, albeit by a small margin. Regardless, our benchmarks still show that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remains a Radeon-friendly game at 1440p.

At 1440p gamers need a graphics card like the AMD RX Vega 56 or Geforce GTX 1070 to achieve average framerates of over 60FPS in our benchmark runs. That said, depending on the scene, this game can operate at framerates that are well in excess of 60FPS. Not bad, given the graphical upgrades that Modern Warfare can offer.

Fans of high framerates will be happy with how Call of Duty: Modern Warfare performs on PC, as 1440p 60+ FPS framerates are relatively easy to achieve at Max settings (without DXR raytracing). Like most games, 1440p remains the performance sweet-spot for PC gamers, which should be music to the ears of all those 1440p 144Hz Adaptive-Sync monitor manufacturers.
