Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time PC Port Report

Crash Bandicoot 4 runs incredibly well on PC on most stages. Every graphics card in our test suite offers steady 60 FPS gameplay in our standard test scene, which delivers similar performance to most areas of the game. 

Owners of 120Hz screens will be glad to know that Crash Bandicoot 4 can easily operate at high refresh rates though it is worth noting that the highest-end GPUs that we tested were all CPU-limited on our Ryzen 9 3950X-based test system.     

  
Demanding Levels

When playing Crash Bandicoot 4’s demanding “Off Beat” mission, we can see that graphics cards like AMD’s RX 480 are not ideal for offering 1080p 60 FPS gameplay across all areas of the game. Thankfully, lowering the game’s graphics preset to High can mitigate this issue, making 60 FPS gameplay accessible to most PC gamers.
