1440p Performance
Even at 1440p Prey is an easy game to run with average framerates of over 60FPS, though again it is clear that AMD’s GPUs are at a disadvantage here. Here the Fury X is only able to offer as much performance as our GTX 1060 Strix, which is very disappointing for a GPU that was designed to compete with Nvidia’s GTX 980 Ti.
One thing that must be remembered is that the console versions of this game are limited to 30FPS, which even our R9 380 and GTX 960 were able to achieve at 1440p max settings, which is a great showing for this game’s PC version.
