Styx: Shards of Darkness PC Performance Review

1080p performance

At 1080p we can see that even at Epic settings Styx: Shards of Darkness is able to run at 60+ FPS on most PC hardware, requiring only a few minor setting decreases to achieve a solid 60FPS on even our R9 380 and GTX 960 GPUs.   

When moving up to our GTX 980Ti and more powerful GPUs we can see that the game starts to be limited by other factors within our system, with the game struggling to play at higher minimum framerates on out highest-end GPUs. This looks like a CPU limitation, though this issue is a minor on given that the game is already running with minimum framerate of over 90FPS for each GPU.
