The Anvil read and write speeds are tied very heavily into the IOPS ability of the drive. Whereas some benchmarks test individually, Anvil seems to test the IOPS alone and extrapolate out from that. Which will be borne out in later benchmarks, although the big sequential results here are impressive enough.
