ASUS ROG G703 Gaming Laptop Review

Gaming

Lastly our gaming benchmarks, and you can see that, Ghost Recon Wildlands aside, not only do all the games pass the 60FPS barrier, but they do so easily, allowing you to make the fullest use of the GSYNC 144 Hz screen that is equipped on our review G703. With even a minor reduction in the image quality settings Rise of the Tomb Raider would be hitting the refresh rate limit of the screen! A far cry from gaming laptops of yore.

We have also made a graph up for you comparing a reference GTX 1080 tested on our overclocked 6 Core 6850K system, so some of the more CPU dependant games can get a nice boost but when the game is purely GPU bound you can see there is no difference at all. We dont normally mix and match data from different test systems as it can be confusing but this was one we thought you would like to see.
