The Core i7-7820HK boosts up to 4.3 GHz on its 4 cores 8 threads giving you plenty of CPU horsepower. As you’ll see in our graphs it ends up performing exactly like a desktop i7-7700K. If that doesn’t pique your interest we’re not sure what will.

  

Any gaming laptop requires a beefy GPU and the G703 ticks all the boxes with a full-fat GTX 1080 pushing polygons. This commitment to desktop performance from a mobile GPU has been hugely successful for nVidia when we reviewed GTX 1050 Ti and GTX 1060 models, so we can’t wait to see how a GTX 1080 fares.

  

Nobody wants to be left behind in the storage wars and the NVMe M.2 drive that works the Windows 10 OS in the G703 is blisteringly fast, with read speeds deeply into the 3GB/s territory whilst the write speeds aren’t exactly slow.
