Temperatures and Battery Life

Whenever you’re using a chassis that is designed for lower end models and you put as much hardware in it as it can handle you will run into issues like these. We’re sure that the cooling and battery are plenty for lesser hardware, but this is a six core CPU and an overclocked GTX 1070. The GPU isn’t too hot but the CPU temperatures are pretty ridiculous. Fortunately the GTX 1070 is slightly easier on the battery than the GTX 1080 was in the ASUS, so we gain an extra half hour of battery life.
