PCSpecialist Ignite Black Friday 2025 Review

As always with PCSpecialist you get all the extras included in the box. The Ignite Black Friday rig might not have masses of additional cables and things in the box, but that’s because all the money has been spent on performance. We know we’d rather have a fast rig than a packet of things we’ll never use.
Two big fans at the front of the Prism II case ensure plenty of airflow. As we’ll see later on, heat is not a problem at all for this system.
Around the back there are enough connectors for most people. Keyboard, Mouse, Headset, Webcam, Microphone, Streamdeck. After that you will need to invest in a USB hub, or plug things in the front ports. Still, for 99% of people, even those planning to stream, the ASUS Prime motherboard has enough connections.
See, extra front panel USB ports should you need them. We tend to use these mainly for our wireless receivers so you can run to make a coffee without losing your headphone audio.
Like all PCSpecialist systems the packaging is exceptional. A very sturdy box protects the whole system, whilst inside the Instapak foam stops any bouncing from the blend of courier and Britain’s roads.
Obviously the money is spent on performance more than aesthetics, but the case fans light up enough to catch the eye.
We’ve had a lot of the more affordable PCSpecialist systems come through the OC3D Bunker, but this is the first we can recall with twin fans on the FrostFlow cooler. Obviously others must have, but none spring to mind. Too many Halloween treats clouding the mind.
See. It might not be the most ridiculously exciting system you’ve ever seen, but at this end of the market we don’t give a stuff what the rig looks like as long as our monitor brings the eye candy.
