Finally we’re moving onto the more graphically based test, and we’re hoping this is there the GT640 in the ID45 is going to bring the system through.

In certain tests here, we see that the graphical performance of the ID45 is actually far better than the integrated solutions in any of the three desktop processors. The transcoding benchmark still tests the CPU’s abilities which is shown clearly in the results. The memory bandwidth of the ID45 remains incredibly competitive with the desktop processors, despite the integrated graphics options using the RAM. It is great to see that the vRAM of the GT640 is still fast enough to not be lagging behind the competition as we’ve seen previously in this review.
