Asetek teases entry-level SimSports La Prima racing products for 2025

Asetek teases new budget-oriented product line for sim racing enthusiasts

In an interview with Traxion, Asetek has revealed their plans to create a new entry-level product range for their sim racing lineup. This new sim racing range will come in the form of new Asetek SimSports La Prima series products. Asetek’s new racing lineup is due to launch in Q1 2025.

PC gamers will likely know Asetek primarily for its liquid cooling products, but recently, the company has focused much of its effort on the Sim Racing market.

Currently, Asetek’s new budget-oriented sim racing products are set to become available separately and as part of a hardware bundle. Basically, for “between €500 and €600,” Asetek’s new racing bundle should offer racers a wheelbase, steering wheel, and pedals.

Asetek is well known for offering upgrade options for its SimSports products, allowing users to easily upgrade to higher-end parts. Asetek SimSports CEO Andre Eriksen has stated that the company’s new SimSports products “will have the same modularity” as its other products.

The Sim racing space has garnered considerable interest in recent years. At Gamescom 2024, we saw Corsair’s Racing Division debut. Additionally, Corsair has acquired Fanatec, a major brand in the sim racing market.
