HYTE lowers the prices of most of its PC cases in the US

Most of HYTE’s PC cases return to pre-tariff pricing in the US

HYTE has issued a new pricing update, confirming that most of its Y-series PC case lineup will return to its pre-tariff pricing in the US. In March, HYTE were forced to increase the pricing of its cases in the United States due to tariffs. Now, many of their products have returned to their original prices.

The only Y-series PC case that has not returned to its pre-tariff pricing is the Y70 Touch. This case is now $40 cheaper than it was, but it remains $20 more expensive than its original US price tag. The company has not commented on how they have been able to decrease the prices of their Y-series PC cases.

Note that all “licensed items” are affected by tariffs. This is reportedly due to “processes in manufacturing.”

Earlier this year, HYTE was forced to increase prices on our products, including our Y-series of cases, in response to current tariffs. While we continue to monitor things, the Y40, Y60, Y70, and Y70 Touch Infinite cases will see lower prices starting today. Unfortunately, due to processes in manufacturing, the production of all licensed items are still affected by tariffs and will not see a price reduction at this time.

The Y70 Touch Infinite case will see a $40 price reduction to $399.99, while our other cases will return to pre-tariff pricing. We also added the option to bundle display upgrade kits to new Y70 orders, allowing customers to buy a Y70 case and corresponding display upgrade together for $399.99

See below our full pricing list for the Y-Series of Cases:

Y70 Touch Infinite: $399.99
Y70 + Y70 Touch Infinite Display Upgrade: $399.99
Y70: $219.99
Y60: $179.99
Y40: $129.99
Thanks for your support – it means more to us than ever before, and we could not be more grateful.

The HYTE Team

The US’ newly implemented tariffs have created a strange situation for both American consumers and importers. These tariffs can change quickly. This makes it difficult for importers to determine what the tariffs will be before their products arrive. The good news for HYTE is that the company has been able to minimise the impact of the US’ current tariffs. However,  it is likely that these tariffs have lowered HYTE’s margins considerably.
