AMD Ryzen 5 7500X3D leaks through Geekbench

AMD appears to have a new Zen 4-powered X3D CPU in development

It looks like AMD is preparing a range of new X3D products for its AM5 socket. Recent weeks have seen CPUs like the Ryzen 7 9700X3D, Ryzen 7 9850X3D, and Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 leak. Now, it appears that AMD has a budget-oriented Ryzen 5 7500X3D CPU planned for gamers with more limited budgets.

Based on data from Geekbench, this new CPU is marginally slower than AMD’s existing Ryzen 5 7600X3D CPU. With a base and boost clock speeds to 4.0 GHz and 4.6 GHz, this CPU is only 100 MHz slower than the Ryzen 5 7600X3D. That small change in speed isn’t large enough to be noticeable by most users.

AMD has not commented on any of these recent X3D CPU leaks. That said, if AMD plans to launch new CPUs anytime soon, it would likely be at CES 2026. These CPUs will refresh AMD’s current AM5 lineup, strengthening AMD’s position within the gaming CPU market. AMD is expected to release Zen 6 CPUs in late 2026. This creates plenty of space for new or enhanced X3D CPU models for gamers.
