ASUS teases “BFGD” revival with “massive” ROG screen

ASUS teases a massive ROG screen that you won’t need a bigger desk for

ASUS has started teasing a “massive screen”, asking gamers to remember “BFGD”. For those who don’t remember, BFGD stands for Big Format Gaming Display. ASUS’ 65-inch ROG Swift PG65UQ was a big format gaming display from 2019. Now, ASUS are teasing what appears to be its successor.

In the teaser below, ASUS shows a screen that rapidly changes in size. Furthermore, ASUS claims that “you won’t need a bigger desk” for this new screen. This suggests that ASUS’ new large-format gaming screen is an on-desk projector. Alternatively, it could be a modular wall-mounted display. Right now, my money is on it being a projected screen.

CES 2026 is shaping up to be an exciting event for ASUS. The company has already teased new “NEO” series motherboards and next-generation OLED monitors. The company has also teased a new ROG PC case that appears to have a holographic screen inside.

OC3D will be at CES 2026 next month, and we plan to visit ASUS to have a look at this new ROG screen and all of their other goodies. Stay tuned for more info.
