Sapphire Pure X870A Review

Introduction

Whilst Sapphire might still be mostly famous for their range of graphics cards, they do offer a number of other hardware options too. You might recall a few months ago we looked at their B chipset Nitro motherboard.

Today it’s time to look at the latest in their AMD motherboard range, the Pure. Based around the regular X870 chipset it has all the features the average user could need. Many X870E models justify their price with endless M.2 slots or more USB ports than the average person could reasonably fill. By sticking to the X870 Sapphire have made the Pure affordable. Yet it still with enough capacity  for all but the richest user.

With the price of hardware currently residing in the stratosphere, and no sign of immediate reductions, any savings are things we will wholeheartedly back. Given the insane popularity of the AMD Ryzen processors, and the longevity of the AM5 socket, this might be the perfect opportunity to upgrade your rig without busting the budget. Let’s take a look.
