ASUS is “BIOS Ready” for Intel’s next wave of CPUs

ASUS confirms that it’s ready for Intel’s Arrow Lake Refresh CPUs

ASUS has officially confirmed that it is “BIOS Ready” for “the future of Intel”. This month, BIOS updates will be rolling out for ASUS’ W880, Z890, Q870, B860, and H810 motherboards. These updates will make these motherboards ready for Intel’s long-rumoured “Arrow Lake Refresh”. This ensures a smooth upgrade process for PC builders.

Intel aims to deliver boosted performance and improved value with its upcoming Arrow Lake Refresh CPUs. Intel has confirmed that these new CPUs will feature support for faster DDR5 memory modules. Additionally, leaked specifications suggest that its Ultra 5 and Ultra 7 CPU models will all include higher CPU core counts. Furthermore, all CPU models reportedly feature higher core clock speeds than their predecessors.

Intel has not officially unveiled its Arrow Lake Refresh. This means that all of ASUS’ Intel 800-series motherboards will support these new processors ahead of launch. This means users will have an easy upgrade process on day 1.
