ASRock’s Intel ARC B570 Challenger 10GB GPU Leaks

ASRock Intel ARC B570 GPU image and specifications leak

We have managed to get a look at some marketing materials for ASRock’s Intel ARC B570 Challenger GPU, giving us a look at this new graphics card and its specifications.

This GPU is lower-end than Intel’s already leaked ARC B580 graphics card. The B570 has 10GB of VRAM and 18 Xe2 cores. This gives this GPU 2 fewer Xe2 cores and 2GB less VRAM than the ARC B580. The Challenger model of the ARC B570 is clocked at 2.6 GHz, which is 200 MHz less than ASRock’s B580 Steel Legend.

The marketing materials for this GPU state that this GPU has a 160-bit memory bus, three DisplayPort 2.1 ports, 144 XMX engines, and 19 Gbps GFDDR6 VRAM. The GPU also has a PCIe 4.0 x8 interface and features an 8-pin PCIe power connector.

Intel appears to have given their new ARC B570 GPU two “Advanced Media Engines.” These two media engines are “fully featured media transcoders” designed to speed up processing times. They support the most popular media formats, including AV1. Based in this information, Intel will be marketing these GPUs towards budget video editing PCs.

This graphics card appears to be a solid play for the budget GPU market. While pricing remains unknown for this new GPU, our bet is that Intel will aggressively target the sub-£250 GPU market with this new model. It could transform the low-cost GPU market if this GPU costs £200 or under. However, how this GPU will perform in practice remains to be seen. Will it leave GPUs like the RTX 4060 and RX 7600 in the dust?
