Nvidia to launch RTX 50 SUPER GPUs in 2025 – report claims
Nvidia’s RTX 50 SUPER series GPUs could release in late 2025 – leaker claims
According to a report from TweakTown, Nvidia may be planning to launch its RTX 50 SUPER series GPUs in late 2025. If true, this would place Nvidia’s RTX 50 SUPER series launch less than a year after Nvidia’s original RTX 50 series launch. Until now, Nvidia’s RTX 50 SUPER series GPUs were expected to be unveiled at CES 2026.
This would place the release of Nvidia’s RTX 50 SUPER GPUs in the Q4 2025 or Holiday 2025 timeframe. This means that gamers could potentially get new Nvidia SUPER series GPUs before Christmas.
There has been some speculation and rumor that NVIDIA was planning on releasing them in early 2026 with a big CES 2026 reveal. However, based on information obtained from sources, the RTX 50 SUPER Series refresh is actually on track for a holiday 2025 or Q4 2025 release.
Based on recent leaks, Nvidia’s RTX 50 SUPER series is expected to focus on memory upgrades. Using 3GB GDDR7 memory modules, Nvidia is expected to provide its RTX 50 series GPU users with significantly more VRAM. If Nvidia does this, they could release a 12GB RTX 5060 SUPER and an 18GB RTX 5070 SUPER. There are also reports of a 24GB RTX 5080 SUPER.
Like all prior Nvidia SUPER series GPUs, Nvidia’s refreshed RTX 50 series GPU lineup is expected to bring gamers more value for money. This will be especially true for Nvidia’s lower-end SUPER series GPUs. After all, lower-end GPUs are more likely to be memory-limited than their higher-end counterparts.
