After a series of teasers, ASUS has finally revealed that their custom GPU is indeed a Radeon RX 7900 XTX. Based on the game’s PC system requirements, and its FSR 3.1 support, this graphics card is sure to be able to play Space Marine 2 at high framerates, even at 4K resolutions.
This graphics card was created thanks to an exclusive collaboration between AMD, ASUS, and Focus Home Interactive. This GPU is based on ASUS’ TUF Gaming RX 7900 XTX, which features “Metal Exoskeleton” that adds structural rigidity to the GPU, and scaled up Axial-Tech fans that deliver 23% more airflow than ASUS’ last-generation fans. These beefy specifications make this GPU the ideal framework for this custom Space Marine 2 GPU.
A closer look at ASUS’ TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XTX Space Marine 2 Edition
This custom TUF Gaming graphics card is inspired by Demetrian Titus, the protagonist of the Space Marine game series. The graphics card has a an Ultramarine colour scheme, with a blue base colour and gold highlights. The red and white stripes at the centre come from Titus’ Lieutenant rank. If you want to build a Titus or Ultramarines themed system, this is the perfect GPU for you.
On the rear of the graphics card we have more Space Marine imagery, and a look at a custom gold GPU retention bracket. This graphics card also has a gold IO panel, showing that ASUS fully committed to the Ultramarines theme.
Like all RX 7900 XTX TUF GPUs, this Space Marine model features three 8-pin PCIe power inputs. The graphics card also boasts three DisplayPort 2.1 connections and a single HDMI 2.1 output.
Radeon GPU Features
Since this new Space Marine 2 GPU is a Radeon graphics card, it would be rude not to talk about some of AMD’s exclusive driver features. The first of these features is AMD HYPR-RX, which is less a single feature and more a selection of add-ons that can improve gaming experiences. This includes AMD Anti-Lag, Radeon Boost, and Radeon Super Resolution. All of these features can be used to decrease latencies or boost framerates, enabling faster, more responsive gaming.
Next up, we have AMD’s Fluid Motion Frames 2 (AFMF 2) technology, which has recently entered preview. This feature enabled frame generation at the driver level, enabling up to a 2x boost in framerate. With AMD’s second generation Fluid Motion Frames Technology, AMD has enabled significantly decreased latencies, making their driver-level frame generation tech more responsive. Furthermore, this new version of AFMF also contains image quality improvements.
