How big is Just Cause 3? Cows catapults?

Today we see the answers for some of the biggest that people have about Just Cause 3, like exactly how big the map is and can I build a cow catapult?

The guys and girls over at Eurogamer have been given early access to Just Cause 3 and have decided to answer some of these pressing questions. All the below gameplay has been recorded on a PC at 1080p 60FPS, showcasing exactly how beautiful this game can be.

Chris and Ian fly around one of the islands in Just Cause 3, to get a sense of how big the game really is. Stick around until the end to see them compare what that island to the full world map.

In Eurogamer’s first video we get to see how the Island of Medici looks from the air, from a jet and other aircraft and let’s us see how much variance there is in the island and how beautiful the terrain can be.

The second video embraces the kind of chaos that gamers love from Just Cause. In the below video Eurogamer’s Chris Bratt and Ian Higton find out exactly how far they can fling a cow using the game’s grappling hook and boosters. I certainly am looking forward to recreating this myself when I play Just Cause 3 on December 1st.

While the island my look peaceful at a distance Just Cause 3 is about destruction, with the games complex physics allowing the destruction mechanics of this game to be much more satisfying to see and play through in this game.

Below we have embedded the developers previous Destruction themed developer diary to show you all how the new destruction physics functions.

We wanted destruction to be more physics-driven and more like a fun toybox that can be used as part of the gameplay. More than looking pretty and going boom, if you tether things correctly you can use them defensively or create cascading destruction – destroying an entire base just by pulling one tether. That wasn’t possible before, but improvements in technology let you do this stuff.

Right now we have no recommended specifications for this upcoming game, so we will not know how powerful your PC will need to be to run this game until closer to launch.

Just Cause 3 will be releasing on the 1st of December 2015 and will be releasing on PC, PS4 and Xbox One and is currently one of the most highly anticipated releases of 2015.
