AMD is hosting an AI-focused event at CES 2024 on January 8th

AMD plans to focus on AI at CES 2024

AMD has confirmed that they will be hosting an event called “Together We Advance_AI” at CES 2024. This event will be held at 7 am PST on January 8th, one hour before Nvidia’s CES 2024 “Special Address”.

At CES, we expect AMD to focus heavily on AI acceleration. We expect to see PCs that are powered by AMD’s Ryzen 8000 “Hawk Point” CPU silicon. With Hawk Point, AMD has doubled the performance of their Neural Processing Unit (NPU), delivering a huge boost to AI performance. We also expect to see AMD’s Ryzen 8000G desktop processors at the event.

Rumour has it that AMD plans to reveal their Radeon RX 7600 XT graphics card during their latest “Together We Advance” event. While this is a gaming-oriented product, AMD’s RDNA 3 graphics architecture features AI acceleration, something that AMD can highlight during its reveal.

At AMD Connect, attendees will be able to see AMD’s AI solutions for Cloud, Edge, and Endpoint use cases. They will also be able to see Ryzen Z1 powered gaming handhelds, new Ryzen/Radeon powered desktops, and more.
