Cyberpunk 2077 is now playable from start to finish
Starting with character creation, it seems like Cyberpunk 2077 allows players to pick their gender, background and appearance at the start of the game, delivering a more Mass Effect-like vibe when it comes to the game’s protagonist. This is a far cry from the Witcher series, where everybody played as Geralt of Rivia, with the only difference being select character-defining actions throughout the game series.Â
The weapon highlighted was a cyberpunk katana, a sword that is capable of deflecting bullets, not like a Jedi but by using a magnetic field. There is more to Cyberpunk than just gunplay.Â
While the game is fully playable, assets for specific areas of the title need to be created and playtesting, and bug fixes are still required, which means that the game remains far from completion. It is also likely that more side-quests and other activities will be added to the game before its launch. Right now, Cyberpunk 2077 has no firm release date. Â
So far, CD Projekt Red has release no Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay to the public, preferring to showcase their game to the gaming press behind closed doors. So far, impressions have been mostly positive. The game is expected to have as much content at The Witcher 3, even with its expansion content, making Cyberpunk 2077 an incredibly ambitious RPG.Â
