EA Sports reveals the PC system requirements for WRC ahead of launch

Here’s what you need to run WRC on PC

EA Sports are launching WRC, the official game of the FIA World Rally Championship, later this week. On PC, the game will be available through the EA App, the Epic Games Store and Steam. EA Sports have now revealed WRC’s PC system requirements, and the game’s console performance targets.

On Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, WRC targets 4K 60 FPS with a dynamic resolution. On Microsoft’s lesser Xbox Series S system, the game still targets 60 FPS gameplay, but with a lower 1440p resolution target. Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 are said to use graphical settings that are equivalent to PC’s high settings. This means that on PC, WRC should be able to offer gamers better visuals with Ultra settings. Cross-play will be available

WRC on PC requires 95GB of storage, and like most modern games, SSD storage is recommended. GPU-wise, EA’s newest racer does not demand a hugely powerful graphics card to run. The game supports both DLSS and FSR upscaling, which should allow most PC gamers to achieve solid framerates within EA’s FIA World Rally Championship racer. EA has also confirmed that VR support is coming to the game as part of a post-launch update.
