Fallout London now has an official release date

Fallout London has been delayed until April 2024

Fallout London, the fan-made DLC-sized mod for Fallout 4, now has an official release date. With the mod’s newest YouTube progress report, the Fallout London team has confirmed that their mod will be releasing on April 23rd 2023.

Despite being “content complete”, Fallout’s England-themed mod is not yet ready for public consumption. The mod needs more thorough testing before it is officially released. The mod’s new release date lines up well with the planned release date of Amazon’s Fallout TV series.

Fallout London’s not just a simple reskin of Fallout 4 with a few union jacks thrown across the map. This mod features a unique map that’s filled with new Fallout content. There are new weapons, new factions, and new enemies. This mod dives deep into what happened to old Blighty in Fallout’s Atom-punk universe.

I for one am very excited to see what this mod looks like when it launches next year. All official Fallout content is very America-centric, so a look at the universe outside of the United States would be a nice change of pace. While this mod is by no means “canon”, it will be in the minds of gamers unless Bethesda create official Fallout UK content.
