Nvidia releases their Zorah Neural Rendering tech demo
PC gamers can now download Nvidia’s Zorah Neural Rendering tech demo
Nvidia has officially released its Zorah tech demo, the demo that showcased the company’s new “Neural Rendering” technologies in action. This demo highlights the innovations that Team Green is bringing to the GPU market, highlighting the capabilities of the company’s RTX 50 series graphics cards.
This tech demo was built using Nvidia’s RTX branch of Unreal Engine 5. The demo features real-time path tracing, RTX Mega Geometry, RTX Hair, co-operative vectors, and Neural Rendering. This tech pushes the limits of real-time graphics and can push Nvidia’s latest GPUs to their limits with DLSS 4.
With this demo, Nvidia is highlighting what’s capable when high-performance ray tracing and high-performance AI solutions are combined to deliver next-level realism. Note that this demo packs almost 500 million triangles into every scene, providing an unprecedented level of detail. Additionally, Nvidia’s RTX Neural Radiance Cache delivers incredible bounce lighting with the ability to “infer an infinite amount of bounces.”
Nvidia’s tech demo is available to download here. The demo weighs in at over 100 GB and will only run on Nvidia’s latest GPUs. If Nvidia is to be believed, that is what the next generation of PC visuals will look like. Whether or not this is the case remains to be seen.
