Microlab T1 Bluetooth Headset Review

Microlab T1 Bluetooth Headset

Bluetooth has advanced a long way since the early days of a mono earpiece used by Estate Agents to make everyone around them on the street go “sorry are you talking to me?”. With the advent of A2DP in Bluetooth 2.0, which has been further refined and sped up with Bluetooth 3 before introducing low-power states to go along with that speed in Bluetooth 4.0, it’s been possible to stream stereo audio to a Bluetooth headset for a few years. However, it’s taken recent advances in the explosion of mobile devices to really harmonise the abilities of the latest Bluetooth specifications with the ability of our portable devices to feed them. After all, nobody wants a stereo film on a Sony Ericsson W800.

Microlab have been the force behind some of the best speakers that we’ve reviewed, and ones that are extremely popular with a large audience. With everything from little stereo speakers up to some serious high fidelity behemoths, they have an audio solution to meet every requirement, so it’s only natural that they will turn their hand towards the enormous market that is smart phones, tablets and MP3 players.
