Roccat Cross Headset Review

Introduction

If you’re a regular reader of our reviews here at OC3D you’ll be aware that Roccat have been banging out quality product after quality product since their first mouse all those years ago. Although there have been a couple of minor hiccups in the interim time, in general every new product they release combines fantastic quality with an affordable price tag and great design.

Back in February we reviewed our last Roccat headset, the Regna, and it proved to be just as good as their high end models despite being solely a stereo headset with a 3.5mm jack.

Today we’re looking at the Cross, another stereo headset, although contrary to the open-backed Regna it’s a closed back design. For those of you who like cross-platform compatibility the Cross – do you see what they did there – supports multiple connection types so that one headset should suit all. Let’s discover if it does.
