XPG Emix H30 and SoloX A30 Headset Review

Introduction

ADATA are famous for their memory solutions, from USB thumb drives to memory cards to coolers for your blistering M.2 drive, they provide a huge selection of storage options.

They have, with their XPG arm, expanded into the world of audio with the Emix H30 headset and SoloX A30 USB solution. They wouldn’t be the first company more famous for memory to dip their toes into the peripheral waters – hello Corsair – and so we had to find out how successful this first venture has been.

Certainly a lot of the boxes you would hope to find ticked have been. The headset has 53mm drivers in an open backed design which should provide for a nice spacious sound, whilst a detachable microphone is a common feature useful for those of you who prefer to listen rather than talk. With a little bit of red lighting to add a sparkle and the all important USB virtual 7.1 amplifier there is much in the specifications to appreciate. Of course listening is the important thing, but before that let’s get a closer look.
