APNX V1 PC Case Review
Conclusion and Video Review
A solid case that’s worthy of consideration
While we like the APNX V1, it would be wrong of us to call it unique. In many ways, this case’s design language feels very HYTE or NZXT. Beyond that, our V1 wood panel model gives us NZXT H6 meets Fractal North vibes. Then there is the fact that “panoramic glass” is probably the most common feature of modern PC case designs.
Don’t get us wrong, we like the APNX V1. However, there are many other cases that fill a similar niche. The V1 is well built, and well laid out, and it gives us very little to complain about. That said, it doesn’t have a “wow factor” that sufficiently separates it from its peers. Yes, this case is beautiful with its panoramic glass and wooden panel options, but panoramic glass is incredibly common these days.
Since this case doesn’t ship with any fans, its performance is defined by the fans that you install. There are plenty of air intake options here, but those options are useless without solid fans. Sadly, we don’t like the FP1 fans that APNX supplied for this review. At a minimum, we’d recommend that users use their much better FP2 fans instead or simply opt for fans from another brand. Either way, you will be able to access a lot more of this case’s airflow potential.
Closing thoughts on the APNX V1
The V1 is a solid case, and the folks at APNX should be very proud of their work. This is certainly a brand to watch, and the V1 is a case worthy of consideration for anyone who wants a mid-tower PC of this style. That’s why the V1 has received our official seal of approval.
