APNX V1 PC Case Review
Meet the APNX V1
Meet the APNX V1
Today, we have a first for OC3D. This is the first time that we have looked at a product from APNX, a relative newcomer to the PC case market. The V1 is the second PC case from APNX, and it will be available later today from retailers.
Honestly, I love reviewing cases from new companies, as new manufacturers often are bold with their designs. With the V1, we have a tower design with a 45-degree angled intake. What we have here is the promise of high airflow, strong liquid cooling support, and great hardware visibility through its panoramic tempered glass window. For those who want a more natural look, wood panelling options are available for this case’s front air intake.
Who are APNX?
APNX is a new brand within the Pro Gamers Group (PGG), which owns popular retailers like Overclockers UK and Caseking and brands like Noblechairs, Ducky, HAVN, Endgame Gear, Streamplify, and Aerocool.
APNX stands for “Advanced Performance Nexus” and the company aims to deliver the ultimate PC components. The brand launched in 2023 and has created an extensive product range that includes PC cases, fans, heatsinks, and accessories.
One case, six models
At launch, six models of the APNX V1 will be available. We have standard Black, White, and Black/White versions, and then we have versions of these cases with solid walnut or ash wood accents.
Today, we will be reviewing the black-and-white version of the V1. This model has a wood-accented panel, which you can see in the images in this review.
Below are the US and EU MSRP prices of the APNX V1. We will update this review with official UK prices as soon as they are available.

Movable motherboard mounts
The V1 has two motherboard mounting options. One is 20mm higher than the other, allowing users to define the space available above and below their motherboards. This is a great feature for fans of liquid cooling solutions, as it allows them to place a thicker radiator at the top of this case. Users of this case can use an ultra-thick radiator at the top of this case, or medium-sized radiators at both the top and bottom of this case. Clearly, QPNX though about that custom PC builders may want here. Great stuff!
The APNX V1 has three removable fan mounting brackets, each supporting up to three 120mm fans or two 140mm fans. Note that the front/side fan bracket also supports two 160mm fans. Given the rarity of 160mm fans, we would recommend that most users utilise three 120mm fans in this location.
APNX V1 Case Specifications
The V1 is a large case. It supports GPUs that are up to 395mm long, and can support a lot of liquid cooling components. The top and bottom of this case can support 360mm liquid cooling radiators. Beyond that, this case supports long 220mm power supplies. This case can be used for high-performance/power liquid cooled systems with ease. There is plenty of space to work with, and a lot of features that make the PC building process simpler.
