Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360 Atmos CPU Cooler Review

Conclusion and Video Review – An excellent liquid cooler from Cooler Master

Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360 Atmos

Conclusion – A great liquid cooler with solid pricing

When we reviewed Cooler Master’s MasterLiquid 360L Core, we were impressed by what the cooler offered with its £109.99 price tag. With the new MasterLiquid 360 Atmos costing £60 more, we expected a notable bump in thermal performance, and in this regard the Atmos has left us very impressed.

Cooler Master’s 360 Atmos CPU liquid cooler is one of the best performing CPU coolers on the market. The 360 Atmos represents great value at its current pricing. Even with 1,000 RPM fans, this heatsink smashes the 360L Core when maxed out. When we max out the Atmos’ fans, we have the best cooling result that we have ever achieved on our test bench. This is an impressive heatsink, there’s no question about that.

The 360 Atmos as a doddle to install. Just attach the correct CPU mounts, add some thermal paste and connect. Having pre-installed fans is honestly a masterstroke from Cooler Master. All AIO liquid coolers should do this. It helps save on packaging, and it saves most users time.

3D printing support?

While this heatsink’s aesthetics are already great out of the box, Cooler Master’s support for 3D printed add-ons with the 360 Atmos is a neat addition. If you fancy a change, you can 3D print a new top for your CPU cooler. That’s an easy way to give your system a new look, and an affordable one. We expect Cooler Master to support this kind of customisability with more of their future products. This is great news for PC gamers that fancy a little modding.

With its solid pricing and excellent thermal performance, the Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360 Atmos is an easy winner of OC3D’s Value for Money Award. It is one of the best heatsinks that we have ever tested. We simply cannot ask for any more for £169.99. Currently, this CPU cooler is only available in black. That said we can confirm that a white version is on the horizon!
