Up Close: Radiator and Cold Plate.
The Radiator measures 277 x 119.6 x 27 mm, and other than having boxed off end tanks and a white CoolerMaster Logo picked out on its side is nothing special to look at
performance wise, the rad has twelve visible water channels, and 23 fins per inch, which puts it slightly on the denser side of average for a 240mm AIO rad. That said, the 27mm thickness won’t place too much of a demand on the fans. It”l be interesting to see how this balance plays out.
With the “leccy” turned off, the top of the pump assembly doesn’t look anything that special. It does though regardless look simple and elegant. Wait till you see what 12v does to it though!
The large contact plate proffers enough copper real estate to provide coverage for even the largest CPUs, with the brushed copper finish informing us that although it’s not shiny, it is at least flat!
The 27mm thick rad, coupled to 25mm thick fans come in at 52m thick, but, as yo can see, thanks to the anti vibration padding on the fans they actually measure a real 54.5mm. Add to that the thumb bolts, and the whole assembly comes in at a smidge over 60mm, which, to be honest, is pretty damn thin. If you really wanted this set up, and were pushed for space in the roof, you could always substitute the thumb bolts for flush fit traditional screws.
