Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE LCD XT CPU Cooler Review
Meet the iCUE H150i ELITE LCD XT
Looking at its box, the Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE LCD XT looks a lot like Corsair’s other products, but those who are more familiar with Corsair’s lineup will know that this AIO features an IPS LCD screen. Aside from these details, this new AIO from Corsair is packaged like any other.
 Â
Today we are looking at the White model of Corsair’s iCUE H150i ELITE LCD XT, which features a white pump top, white tubing, and a white radiator. All cables for this unit are black, and the base of this unit’s pump features the same black surround as the unit’s standard model, not that you can see this component when this AIO is installed within a system.Â
Like most AIOs, Corsair has pre-applied thermal past to their latest H150i, choosing to use their own XTM70 thermal paste.Â
Design-wise, Corsair’s new H150i pump/block unit is simple and elegant. Its control and power cables are black, easy to install and easy to hide/route within a PC. These elements do not draw attention away from this AIO’s LCD screen, which is good news as this is the feature that you are paying a premium for with this AIO. Â
With Corsair’s H150i ELITE LCD XT comes a iCUE Commander Core controller, which is designed to control the RGB lighting and fan speeds of up to six Corsair RGB fans. With the H150i ELITE LCD XT coming with just three 120mm AF120 RGB fans, this leaves users with three space slots for additional fans.Â
With Corsair’s H150i ELITE LCD XT white liquid cooler comes three of Corsair’s White Edition AF120 RGB fans, which feature white cables, a white surround, and grey highlights. These fans feature an inner RGB ring that can be controlled using Corsair’s iCUE software though the Commander Core controller above.
Corsair’s AF120 fans are amongst Corsair’s best looking fans to date. These a premium looking fans that would look great in any system. Gone are the days where AIOs ship with ugly fans that quickly need to be replaced by aesthetics conscious PC builders.Â
