Custom MSI Maestro 700L and Project Zero Build
In Detail
In Detail
The very nature of the MSI Maestro 700Ls support for back connect motherboards means that the internals are very curvaceous. This brings an added benefit that any colour you pick, candy red in this case, shines even brighter. There is a depth you just wouldn’t get from flat boxes.
It might be reflective here on this heath, but those reflections show off the equally gorgeous curves of the outer glass. It’s so much nicer, and harder to manufacture, than mere straight panels. We’re drooling again and we’ve been looking at this for weeks.
Just imagine if you were wandering past you could’ve slid this up your jumper and run off with it.
Without the glass in place you can really see how well the internals are designed. There is so much room for cooling too, as our 9 fans can attest. By having all the cables around the back of the Project Zero the front view is achingly clean.
We could talk about the colour, or the curves, or the contrast between the white hardware and red MSI Maestro 700L chassis, but sometimes just staring does enough.
The easy of taking the MSI RTX 4080 Super Expert card apart and painting it the OC3D white is so easy. More manufacturers need to take a leaf out of MSIs book and give us easily customisable hardware. Or at least easily painted.
The white G.Skill 7200 MHz memory perfectly matches the rest of our components and ensures it goes as nicely as it looks.
Lastly our MSI Maestro 700L case is one of a limited number. If, like us, you’re old and wizened then you’ll appreciate that ours is number 386. The processor upon which we all started. Serendipitous.
