Kolink Phalanx Review
Exterior continued
Aside from the I/O, the roof of the case is given over to a large magnetically attached mesh area.
As you might have guessed, this mesh panel is easily removed revealing fan mounts for a pair of 120s or 140s.
Around the back we have a single 120mm fan, which looks quite tightly squeezed as the mesh panel does not extend to the full width of the fan.
There are a total of seven vented expansion bays, unfortunately, these are the punch out type, so once a cover is removed, there’s no putting it back in. Still, We guess Kolink had to make some price compromises somewhere.
The case sits on four rubber pad capped plastic feet, and has a slide in type filter covering the PSU area. The four screws seen towards the front of the case enable the internal HDD rack to be removed, should you so desire.
