The MSI MEG CoreLiquid E15 360 is easily the best CPU cooler that MSI has ever produced. MSI’s build quality is excellent, and their design shows a clear attention to detail.
Even upon unboxing this liquid cooler, it was clear that it sits far above MSI’s other offerings. Its golden aluminium elements make its parts feel rigid and weighty in a way that plastic-clad liquid coolers never could. It is also clear that MSI paid attention to the small details, with their “laminar focus fan” tech and “cooling safeguard” showing a clear desire to do things that their competitors haven’t.
Thermally, MSI’s MEG CoreLiquid E15 360 delivers the performance that we’d expect from a premium CPU cooler. We’d be more than happy to use this cooler with a personal system. It delivers strong cooling performance and can operate quietly. This cooler’s thermal performance gives us nothing to complain about.
Ultra premium aesthetics and awesome build quality
With solid construction and a good attention to detail, MSI has made this cooler look and feel premium. Its included screen is large and bright, and its single-frame fan design and single-cable connector design make this cooler incredibly easy to use.
The only negative that we can levy at this cooler is its software. We feel this cooler could use more stock imagery and additional customisation options. This can be fixed with future software updates, and we hope that MSI commits to expanding the software feature set of their screens. Drag-and-drop, element resizing, community sharing features, and GIF repository integration would all be great additions. That said, the software is perfectly usable as is and offers a good number of customisation options.
MSI’s new MEG CoreLiquid E15 360 CPU cooler is a true Enthusiast-Grade product. This isn’t a product that simply copies a competitor’s design elements. MSI meticulously designed this liquid cooler to create the product they wanted for their MEG range. It delivers great cooling performance and has many design elements that no other brand offers. That’s rare for a CPU liquid cooling solution. MSI truly cares about this product, and it shows. This liquid cooler is Enthusiast Grade.
