TRYX Stage 360 ARGB CPU Liquid Cooler Review
Conclusion
An awesome addition to TRYX’s product lineup
When TRYX launched its Panorama CPU cooler (review here) in 2024, its bent-screen design was unique. There is no shortage of CPU cooler designs that now copy its aesthetic, turning what was once uniquely TRYX into something much more mainstream. Now, TRYX has moved in a new direction, launching another unique CPU cooler design that challenges industry norms.
As the name suggests, the TRYX STAGE 360 is a stage. It is intended to highlight something that the owner wishes to display. On its own, it is a CPU liquid cooling solution with a unique screen layout. Add a minifigure (or anything else that fits), and you will have a system that is uniquely yours. I would use this to display one of my favourite Warhammer minis and switch it out every now and then as my preferences change. This cooler’s LCD screens serve as an active backdrop for whatever you want to display on stage. This allows users to make their systems unique, more so than any standard LCD-clad CPU cooler.
In our demanding Cinebench R24 test, this cooler performed on par with NZXT’s Kraken Elite V2 360mm liquid cooler in most tests. It is a solid performer, but not at the top of our CPU cooling hierarchy. That said, it’s £199.99 pricing places this CPU cooler on the more affordable side of the “big-LCD”/”multi-LCD” spectrum. Add on its unique “stage” aesthetic, and I can see this CPU cooler being popular amongst collectors. What other CPU cooler allows you to display your collectables?
The TRYX Stage 360 is a strong performer, and its screens are backed up with solid software. With its unique screen layout and “stage” design, I can see a lot of PC builders falling in love with this CPU cooler. Ultimately, whether this CPU cooler is right for you depends on how you plan to use its “stage”. Is there something special you would like to display as your system’s centrepiece? If so, there is no reason not to buy it. After all, it is a solid performer in terms of cooling. If not, then you may be better off buying something else. This CPU cooler lives and dies by its “stage” gimmick… and honestly, I love it.
