As is nearly always the case with 3D Mark Fire Strike in its various incarnations the GPU provides the vast majority of the score and thus the gap between something as expensive as the Intel i9-7980XE and the humble Ryzen 5 2600 is almost nothing. If you’re a regular reader you’ll know that this is a large part of the reason we say that graphics cards will always give you the biggest reward for extra money spent if you’re largely using your system for gaming.
