Whilst AIDA64 might be a synthetic benchmark in the strictest sense, we find it an invaluable way of testing the calculation performance of a system and the raw memory throughput. After all, Rendering, encoding and gaming benchmarks are usually industry standard ones and might be susceptible to driver finagling. AIDA64 is only interested in raw math horsepower.

Clearly against such heavyweight competition the 7500X3D doesn’t fair massively well. Do note that AIDA changing from CPU Queen to CPU Checkmate for their primary calculative benchmark means we’ve only got our most recent reviews listed. When you just compare the PhotoWorxx result (red bar) it looks a lot better.
