The R20 version of Maxon’s rendering engine tests both single core performance as well as the multi-threaded option. If you like seeing a desk rendered quickly and efficiently this is about the best solution there is. It’s a great ‘surface’ test of your potential performance and a rule of thumb for system stability.

Maxon’s Cinebench R23 uses the same scene as the R20 benchmark – an office – but tests it slightly differently behind the scenes. It’s an interesting way of seeing a familiar benchmark done differently.
